The founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga has said that Presidents’ spouses deserve to be paid because the President wouldn’t go anywhere in terms of development for the nation if not their wife.
He stressed that the First Lady console the President when he is not happy, as well as make certain decisions for the President to come out and make good decisions.

Citing a typical example he mentioned how most ordinary husbands view their wives as their best partners.
He stressed that wives give husbands the moral support to be able to manage their affairs, so its unfair if such people are not entitled to minimum salary.
Mr. Ayariga stressed that the Presidents’ salaries should be increased as well as their wives paid.
