Some suspected gun men have attacked and shot dead a mobile money vendor at Okorase near Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The deceased, 36 known as Solomon Arhin is reported to be walking home with a friend when these suspected armed men attacked them but the friend was able to run off.
Unfortunately for Solomon he got shot in the chest on Saturday, June 19 2021 at around 11:14 pm.
According to an eye witness he was in his room when he heard gunshots but few minutes later the victim who was running towards his house was found lying in a pool of blood when he came out of his room.
Items such as two black backpacks containing cash of GH¢8,290.30, One HP Laptop with charger, an Infinix mobile phone, an Itel mobile phone, an Android mobile phone, two small Itel mobile phones, pen drive, modem, earpiece, and some bank documents were found lying beside the dead body of Solomon.
He was rushed to the St. Joseph Hospital by Police who arrived at the crime scene but was pronounced dead.
Solomon’s mortal remains has been deposited at the morgue.
