Former HIV/AIDS ambassador Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has finally revealed why she made a U-turn on her HIV/AIDS status years after she publicly told Ghanaians she was never positive to the virus.
In a press conference she held, she stated emphatically that she made the U-turn because of the love of her kids and the kind of stigma she was going through. This is because her kids keep getting sacked from school by school authorities with claims that her kids are also positive.
According to her she wanted to have a second life and a second chance.
She lamented on how HIV/AIDS stigma is impeding her day to day activities especially her job despite being an abled bodied person.
Joyce made this revelation after a live HIV/AIDS test she did on herself and kids proved that her kids are negative but she is positive.
