Buhari Reveals Building Railway For Niger Because He Has Family Members There
Nigeria's President, Buhari has defended his government's decision to spend $1.9 billion on a rail project in Niger because he has family members there.
The President in an interview with Arise TV noted that he has and his government have decided to build a rail lines from Kano to Niger just to enable his relatives in the country easy access to Nigeria.
“I have cousins, family members, etc., in Niger Republic. I shouldn’t just cut them off,” Buhari justified his regime's decision.
