Ghana Bans Importation Of Poultry After Bird Flu Hits Three Regions In The Country
Ghana has banned poultry importation from neighbouring countries that have detected cases of bird flu. This comes after Ghana also detected the out break of bird flu in 3 regions including Greater Accra Region, Central Region and Volta Region.
In a statement the Ministry disclosed that it has banned the importation of poultry birds as part of measures to curb the spread of the disease.
