Some illegal migrants have been arrested by the police in Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana. According to a police statement, on Wednesday 17th August 2021, the Vigilante patrol team ceased thirty-five undocumented immigrants at the Nandom Hospital junction. Many African migrants are feared dead after a boat carrying them reportedly capsized off Yemen's coast. According to report, fishermen in Yemen's Lahj province recovered 25 bodies in the water near Ras al-Ara. A report from a provincial official said a boat with between 160 and 200 people on board had overturned in the area two days ago.
