Ho Court Grants Bail To 21 LGBTQ Suspects

A Ho Court 2 has granted bail to some 21 persons suspected to be members of LGBTQ who were arrested in Ho on Thursday May, 20 2021. The suspects which includes 16 females and 5 males were first put before the Ho Circuit Court on May 21, 2021 but were remanded into police custody. The 21 suspects were charged with unlawful assembly for appearing at a conference in the Ho Municipality. Lawyers of the suspects proceeded to the High Court to file a bail application after the lower court declined their earlier attempt.
