16-year-old boy identified as Eric Bonsu has drowned in River Pra at Sefwi Besibema, a farming community in Akontombra District on Sunday 30th May 2021. He was said to have gone to the river with some friends on Sunday at around 9:00 a.m. to swim but while swimming he friends realized he was getting drowned so they informed the father of the boy Eric Atta who tried to save his son.
