Greater Accra Now Most Populated Region In Ghana-GSS
The Ghana Statistic Service has released the provisional result of the 2021 population census and the Government Statistician, Professor Samuel Kobina Annim, has named the Greater Accra Region as the most populous region in Ghana,
He noted that the region has 5,446,237 people which beats the Ashanti Region's 5432485 that has been the most populous region over the years. Accra is the most populous region with Ashanti Region following with a close margin.
