A High Court in Accra has dismissed actress Akuapem Poloo's appeal asking the court to set the 90-days jail term and replace it with a fine on Wednesday 1st December 2021.
This means the actress will now have to serve her 90-day prison term imposed on her months back by a Circuit court.
The appeal filed was to ask the court to set aside the 90 days sentence and replace it with a fine but the court dismissing the appeal indicated that the custodial sentence wasn’t harsh and excessive.
