German Elections: Center-Left Party, SDP Narrowly Wins Against CDU
Germany's federal elections has been narrowly won by the Center-left Social Democrats (SDP) as the outgoing Chancellor Angel Merkel's party gets kicked out along with her.
Preliminary results has it that the SDP party garnered 25.7% of votes while Merkel's party amassed 24.1 of the votes.
The Green party which placed third garnered 14.8% of the votes implying that this year's has been one of the best results for the party, historically.
