Court Dismisses Akuapem Poloo’s Appeal; Orders Her To Serve 90-Day Jail Term
The appeal filed by actress Akuapem Poloo born Rosemond Alade Brown challenging her 90 days sentence has been dismissed by the High Court in Accra presided over by Justice Ruby Aryeetey.
This means the actress will now have to serve her 90-day prison term imposed on her months back by a Circuit court.
The appeal filed was to ask the court to set aside the 90 days sentence and replace it with a fine but the court dismissing the appeal indicated that the custodial sentence wasn't harsh and excessive.
