Stormzy has flown Maya Jama on a no-expense spared £2,700 a night getaway at a lavish Greek villa for a show-stopping late birthday present for his ex.
The impressive gift comes after it’s been said the musician is trying to win the TV personality back after previously admitting it was the ‘worst mistake of his life’ to split with her.
The pair called off their four year relationship back in 2019 but have said to have become close again in recent months. Stormzy, is now said to be hopeful he can rekindle things with Maya, 29, and wants to “treat her like a queen” as he steps up the romance to win her back.
Fans of the pair have been speculating that they could be back on as the duo were spotted on holiday in the same location.
A source has now revealed the lengths the rapper has gone to make sure that Maya has the time of her life during their time away.
“Stormzy is mad for Maya and has spent huge amounts of money taking her on a luxury holiday. He chartered a private jet to Greece then they flew into the resort by helicopter. It’s all very romantic,” the insider said.
The Greek villa they are staying at comes with a hefty price tag but the pair are said to be waited on ‘hand and foot’ for the money they are spending.
“It was Maya’s birthday earlier this month and this trip is a bit of a belated birthday present from Stormzy to Maya. She means the world to him and he wants her to be treated like a queen,” added the insider
The Love Island host has been keeping her fans updated on the luxury getaway on Instagram Stories, and it didn’t take long for people to notice that Stormzy could be in the same place.
Meanwhile, the music star shared a clip to TikTok which featured a montage of clips, including one enjoying a swim in his infinity pool. Maya posted a video of herself drinking an Aperol Spritz, with fans noticing that they were sharing posts from the same villa.
The dating rumours come just a week after Maya showed her support for her ex as she watched Stormzy’s performance at All Points East Festival.
When the pair announced their split in 2019, cheating rumours emerged. Some believed he admitted to it in his song Lessons from his album Heavy is The Head where he says that he had “done the dirt”. However, since then he has denied that he ever cheated on Maya.
