After the shocking passing of NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, the family have been very strong yet still emotional about the tragedy that happened in 2020. As reported, Kobe Bryant died from a serious Airplane crash, alongside his daughter Gianna. It’s been 3 years already since the NBA star passed, and the emotions gets even worser, when its his birthday.
On what would’ve been his 45th trip around the sun, Vanessa Bryant is paying tribute to her late husband, Kobe Bryant. Three years after Kobe and Gianna’s untimely passing, Vanessa continues to honour her late husband and daughter with some emotions attached.
On Wednesday Aug. 23, Vanessa remembered Kobe on her instagram saying;
“Happy birthday, baby. I love you always & forever.”
Her tweet saw many reactions from various personalities, including Mario Lopez, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian, Loni Love, and the official Lakers IG account along with many others in the comment section.
Kobe Bryant Day also known as Black Mamba Day or Mamba Day, 8/24, honors the two jersey numbers Bryant wore during his 20-year NBA career, as well as it being the day after his birthday, August 23. In 2017, he became the first player in NBA history to have two jersey numbers retired by the same team.
Vanessa has received so many accolades from fans, for staying strong and keeping her head up even after the difficult tragedy that happened in 2020.
