Good News As Sam George Hints On A Possible Extension of Sim Re-registration Deadline

Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Samuel Nartey George has implied the SIM re-enlistment exercise will be broadened and added that the public authority is possibly feigning when they fixed the cutoff time to July 31, 2022.


The cutoff time was advanced by the Minister of Communications and Digitalization, Madam Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, who at first stretched out it from March 31st to July 31st.

“More time will be required to update the SIM Registration App for the registration of diplomats, while a Self-Service SIM Registration App is also being developed to facilitate registration of SIM cards for Ghanaians resident abroad.

This will be operational by mid-April,” a statement issued by Madam Owusu-Ekuful to this effect was disseminated to the populace said on Tuesday, March 22.

On the other hand, she stressed it in Kumasi on July 22 while tending to a gathering. However, NDC’s Sam George has said this isn’t correct.
