Breaking News: Black Maidens of Ghana Slapped With Two Years Ban For Age Cheating

Ghana’s Black Maiden have been banned from the FIFA U17 Women’s African Qualifiers in the next two editions following age cheating.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have also been fined $100,000 by the Confederation of African Football.

The ban comes after a Moroccan protested that Nancy Amoh and Rasheeda Shahabu faked their birth date information although they were above 17.

A protest was filed against Ghana by Moroccans after they lost 2:0 in the first leg in Ghana in the Qualifiers for the U-17 Women’s World Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The CAF Disciplinary Board asked the Ghana Football Association to defend the said claim leveled against him by providing the board with a written response, but it failed to do so.

Meanwhile this decision can still be contested by Ghana before the CAF appeal board.
