The Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has disclosed that in the next three months government will be unable to pay salaries of its workers.
The Speaker made this revelation in the house on 24th February 2024.
“This is not to discourage the committee. In three months, the government may not be able to pay its own workers”, the Speaker told Mps.
Although the speaker made this revelation he didn’t elaborate on it.
The Speaker makes this revelation at a time when the country is battling on whether to pay the controversial E-Levy or not.
Meanwhile the Speaker told MPS that he will have them arrested by marshals should they misbehave in the House.
