Return The Laptops If You Think You’re NDC Member And Don’t Want It-Hopeson Adorye To Teachers

A former member of Parliament on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Hopeson Adorye has dared all teachers who feel they don’t like the newly distributed laptops to teachers because they’re members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to return the laptops.

According to him him if they want to return the laptops because of their political alienation and resort to note books he will gladly welcome it.

Hopeson Adorye who questioned teachers if they can get laptops at GHS1500 today stated that the teachers should rather be grateful that government is making provisions of laptops in order to enhance teaching and learning.

”We need to hold the Teachers Association responsible in this matter. If we have done this then you are a teacher but a member of the NDC so you will continue to cause trouble, that is your problem. If you say what government has done for you is not good but rather but rather you’ll want to for the NDC and say the laptops we bought are not of good quality that is your problem”, he said.

If you are an NDC teacher and you think that the laptops given to you are not the best and that don’t like them send them back to where you took them from so that you start preparing your lesson notes in books and let’s see which of them is the best. Which laptop can you get in the open market for GHS1,500?. How much are even toys on the open market?.

All Teachers Alliance Ghana (ATAG) a teacher union has a announced a decision to protest the amount of GHS509 that was deducted from the teacher’s professional development allowance to pay government’s one teacher one laptop policy.
