The Minister of State at the Ministry of Interior, Bryan Acheampong has said that President Nana Akufo-Addo’s foreign travels must be kept from the public.
According to him in a bid to enhance the President’s security it will only be wise if his foreign travels are kept confidential.
This comes following the alarming cost of the President’s trips which were brought to bare by the member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
“We cannot play politics about it and make this a pedestrian issue; that is very elementary and basic.”
Some Ghanaians reacting to the Minister questioned whether the Presidential travels with his personal money hence wants his foreign travels to be kept a secret.
