The Minister of Railway development, John Peter Amewu has said that the sky train project which the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government promised Ghanaians will not come off.
Owing to its cost, Peter Amewu says government has no plans of bring the project to life.
Speaking on Citi TV, the member of Parliament confessed that raising funds for such a project is a big problem now.
“The sky train that we are talking about is the one that is going to run on columns in the sky like the ones you see in Dubai but no agreement has been signed.”
He said without mincing words that its not possible for the country to have a sky train in the next 3-4 years.
“It is not possible to be done now. I don’t see any sky train being done in the next 3-4 years. There is not going to be any Sky train in the country. It is not possible.”
