John Mahama Is NDC’s Biggest Problem-Nana Akomea

STC boss, Nana Akomea has descended heavily on former President John Mahama following comments he made about Nana Akufo-Addo.

The ex-President of Ghana John Mahama had accused the President and the EC of ballot stuffing to favour the President to retain power.

He stressed that there were some 1 million votes in excess which was intended to be used in the President’s favour.

As he calls on Ghanaians to vote for him in 2024 he has urged all to vote out the NPP government as it has abandoned all projects commenced by the NDC before it left office in 2016.

But Nana Akomea reacting to the President’s claims said he is the biggest problem to his party (NDC).

He added that the story of the NDC would have been different if they selected a person like Hon. Alban Bagbin to be the flagbearer of the party.

“The NDC has a big problem. Their big problem is President Mahama. President Mahama has been a President before and Ghanaians voted against him in election 2016. So, everything he says today, he has also a track record . . . If they (NDC) had gone for a different person like Speaker Bagbin, he has not been President before. So, if he tells Ghanaians that the NPP has heightened corruption and when I come into power, I will do something about it, what can you say? Because he is now coming, he has no track record, but Mahama became Vice President and President for four and half years. Therefore, if he says anything about corruption, we will go back and look at his track record. That’s the big problem,” he said.
