John Mahama’s Comment on 2020 Polls An Act of Childishness-Ayisi Boateng

A former Ghana’s ambassador to South Africa, Dr. George Ayisi Boateng has asked the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama to stop his childish comment on the 2020 elections.

Since the Supreme court trashed the former President’s election petition case, he has said time without number that he disagrees with the court ruling and still stand by his claim that the election was rigged to favour President Nana Addo.

George Ayisi Boateng who was speaking on Accra based Angel FM advised the three-time presidential candidate of the NDC to be quiet about the election verdict just as the President Nana Akufo-Addo did in 2012.

He further said that the constant attacks from the ex-president directed that the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission are needless.

”During the 2012 elections petition, Nana Addo Dankwa-Akufo-Addo had 5-4 but accepted defeat and did not talk about it. He said even though he disagreed with the ruling, because of the love for Ghana he accepted it in good faith. So when I listen to what the former President say then I ask myself whether he will….it’s a great worry to me because the bible teaches us that when you are a child you do your things as a child but when you grow, you do away with all that. So for someone who has been an Assemblyman, MP, Vice President, President, he is the luckiest personality in Ghana”, he added.
