Not long ago dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was arrested together with his crew Nana Dope, Gangee and Deportee got arrested for pulling a stunt on Ghanaians.
The three were arrested over Shatta Wale’s gunshot prank.
Prior to his arrest, Shatta Wale had earlier said that if Jesus Ahuofe the man of God who prophesied that he Shatta Wale will be shot on 18th October has been arrested then he will not feel bad at all if he gets arrested because that’s what he wants.
After their release Shatta Wale has for the first time reacted to his arrest and release from jail.
He pleaded with the Inspector General of police, COP George Akuffo Dampare to allow celebrities to live their lives and pull the publicity stunt since its part of their job.
He stated that people criticize celebrities especially the way they dress as though they are social misfit forgetting that its part of showbizness.
Shatta cited the meeting the Creative arts industry players had with the IGP on 10th November as a typical example of a case he should not be expected to dress in suit and tie since its not part of his brand.
