The National Communication Director, Sammy Gyamfi has said that its a big lie on the part of the Nana Addo led administration to finger covid-19 as the main cause of hardship in the country.
According to him during the time Covid-19 hit the world, World bank granted Ghana $2 billion cedis to be used for some relieve interventions for citizens.
He also mentioned that the IMF also gave the Nana Addo administration $100,000 dollars to be used in containing the covid-19 pandemic.
Sammy Gyamfi also mentioned that as a result of the covid-19, the government also borrowed GHC20 billion from the Bank of Ghana yet the government claims times are hard because of Covid-19.
He stressed that its a big lie for the Nana Addo administration to claim that there is hardship in the country because of the pandemic.
Sammy Gyamfi mentioned that there’s is hardship because the government is insensitive towards the people of Ghana.
