Barcelona Officially Names New Manager After Sacking Ronald Koeman

Barcelona have affirmed the appointment of Sergi Barjuan as the interim supervisor following the sacking of underperforming Ronald Koeman.

Ronaldo Koeman was shown the exit door on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 not long after Barca’s 1-0 stunning loss to Rayo Vallecano in the La Liga. The frustrating outcome has since left the Catalan club in 10th on the league table with 15 points from 10 games.

As per The Sun, Nou Camp legend Xavi is prepared to take over once Barcelona arrives at an arrangement with Al-Sadd who the previous player is right now overseeing.

Be that as it may, B group supervisor Barjuan has been named overseer, meanwhile, with Barcelona revealing his occupancy will end quickly once an extremely durable replacement is reported.

A statement from Barcelona reads;

”Barcelona hereby announces that Sergi Barjuan, the current head coach of Barca B, shall be taking provisional charge of the technical management of the senior squad.

His interim position as first-team head coach shall end as soon as the club has hired a full-time head coach to replace the dismissed Ronald Koeman.”

Barjuan went through 14 years with the La Liga giants as a player, working through the youth positions prior to breaking his direction into the senior group. He proceeded to show up for the club prior to winding his vocation with rivals Atletico Madrid.

Barjuan has recently dealt with Barcelona’s youth teams prior to assuming responsibility at Almeria and Mallorca.
