Celebrated Ghanaian journalist, Afia Pokua has quizzed both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) the whereabout of the jobs they claim to have created.
Not only is she questioning the whereabout of the jobs created she is also asking for the people who have been employed in those called jobs created since the number of unemployed youth seems to be increasing exponentially.
The broadcast journalist made these enquiries when she was speaking on Egyaso Gyaso show on Okay FM.
”When NDC was leaving power, they said they have created jobs in their green book. When Ignatius Baffour Awuah was being vetted, he also said the government intends to create 3 million jobs. So why does the unemployment numbers keep rising when you claim to have created jobs”, she asked.
She added; ”it is high time you stop employing ghosts in your jobs you claim to have created and employ human beings. There are professionals who are there so use them and stop employing ghosts”.
Afia advised the youth to step up and better their lives and not focus on NPP and NDC politics that has brought nothing to the country.
