President Nana Akufo-Addo has again given his opponents reason to criticize him following a comment he made about his position as the commander in Chief of the armed forces.
Nana Addo in an interview has admitted that his job as a president is a difficult one noting that anyone who says its not difficult is probably not working.
”Its difficult to be a President, anyone who says its not is probably not working. But I thank God that the over 30 million Ghanaians still have the trust in me”, he stated.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM, he said his administration has been facing challenges in running the country’s economy especially when covid-19 affected so many sectors of the economy.
He was quick to say that the country has sustained its economy even though covid-19 ravages had a dire effect on the economy.
”We have sustained the economy even though covid ravages had a dire effect on the economy. We have made significant gains. I won’t say I’m satisfied but I’m encouraged by the rate of development in the country”.
Nana Addo complained about roads the former President left behind and described them as unprecedented.
