2024 Polls: NPP Will Beg To Hand Over Power To NDC -Yammin

A former Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Joseph Yammin has expressed that when the NDC wins the 2024 elections the ruling New Patriotic Party and the Director of Operations at the Presidency will beg to hand over power.

This comes after the Director of Operations at the Presidency Lord Commey stated that the NPP has no business of handling over power to the NDC in 2024 because the party will break the 8-year cycle.

”Never again is what we should resolve leaving this conference this afternoon. Never again that this thing (acrimony) will ever happen to this party. Break the 8 has become the slogan but as I stand here and so far as I live I won’t break any 8. The power I have I will not hand it over today nor tomorrow. There is no 8 to be broken. I’m continuing. Breaking the 8 slogan is denigration. As if there is something indeed to be broken. We have the power and what is left for us is to sustain the power. We have a President who now says I would hand over to the next NPP Presidential candidate as President of Ghana”, Mr. Commey said to a crowd.

This might have called for Mr. Yammin’s comment on the NPP begging in 2024 to hand over power to NDC.

In a post on Facebook monitored Mr. Yammin noted that the NDC will soon rescue Ghanaians from Nana Addo’s hand.

Joseph Yammin added that the NDC which contested the 2024 election with soft hands will be different from NDC contesting 2024.
