E/R: 27-Year-Old Woman Who Beheaded Her Husband Remanded

27-year-old woman who beheaded her husband Lartey Daniel at My God village near Akyem Bosuso in the Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region of Ghana has been remanded by a circuit court in Kyebi.

In a bid to enable police to complete investigation into the matter, the prosecution prayed the court remand the accused which was granted.

Rachel Tetteh, the accused pleaded with the court when she was arraigned before it on Wednesday 6th October but her plea wasn’t taken by the court.

She would have to reappear in court on 20th October, 2021.

According to report a misunderstanding ensued between Rachel and her husband of which Rachel trailed her husband while on his way to the farm then pushed him to the ground. After pushing him to the ground she then took his cutlass and cut off his head with it.

According to the police after receiving information regarding the murder they arrived at the village and found the lifeless body of the man lying on a farming footpath.

The Police then took the mortal remains of the man to the New Tafo Government Hospital morgue.
