Josephine Payin Mensah, the woman at the center of her fake pregnancy and kidnap has finally met her bail conditions after she was granted GHS50,000 bail with two sureties.
She was granted bail by a Takoradi court a week ago but it became difficult for her to meet the bail conditions hence remaining in police custody.
His Hounour Michael Cudjoe Ampadu on 27th September 2021 granted the 28-year-old woman a bail of GHS50,00 with two sureties, one to be justified.
Report indicates the Western Region office of the Land Commission confirmed that on 4th October 2021, documents to help make Josephine’s bail was worked on.
It was also confirmed by Regional Director of the Commission, Nana Kwampong Abuah II that the documents were brought in on 1st October 2021.
Josephine has now been set free but would have to make an appearance at the court on 14th October.
