Mills And Mahama Gov’ts Took Ghana Backwards-Nana Akufo-Addo

President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has said that there is a need to keep the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in power despite cries from some Ghanaians that the party has brought hardship in the country.

According to him if the NPP party had still continue to rule the country, the country would have experienced the necessary changes it desired but unfortunately the NDC took over after President Kuffour.

He mentioned that Evans Atta Mills and John Mahama’s administration took the country severla years backwards adding that if the NPP doesn’t win in 2024 the country will surfer similar fate.

”I always say our situation in Ghana, if the NPP party had continued after President Kuffour, maybe Ghana would have realised the desired changes but we didn’t have the opportunity to continue”.

”We continued the eight-year cycle. Mills and Mahama came as far as I am concerned, we went backwards again and I have a fear that may happen again if we don’t win 2024 and that has given birth to the slogan break the eight”, he stated on Pure FM.

He added that he will give his support to anyone whom the party elects as the next flagbearer.
