Nana Ampadu kicked the bucket at age 76.

Nana Kwame Ampadu was a recognized name in Ghana and across the shores of mother Ghana. His style of music is adored by all, both children and the aged.

The Kwahu-Obo native in the Eastern Region, formed and recorded tunes about cash, love and marriage, great citizenship, covetousness, intoxication, demise, street habits for business drivers, viable nurturing, social separation and for all intents and purposes each part of our being in the country.

Songs like Ebi Ti Yie, Aku Sika, Kofi Nkrabea, Obiaa Ba Nnye, Woyoo, Mother, Mentumi Ngyae Wo, Agartha, Aye Se Ye Do Wo, Obra, Drivers, Anibere Nnye, Oman Bo Adwo, Kwaata and numerous others were famous at various occasions.

As individuals keep on grieving him, veteran Highlife vocalist and artist, Akosua Agyapong has tragically uncovered how a specific doctor added to the grievous destruction of Nana Ampadu.

Talking in a meeting with Adom TV columnists when they found her at the place of Nana Ampadu after his death, Akosua Agyapong disclosed that the clinic they previously hurried Nana Ampadu, which is a medical clinic at Achimota, for clinical consideration gave the reason that the doctor on the job was snoozing.

They later needed to surge him to a clinic at Legon, where he got the required clinical consideration however tragically, they couldn’t save his life in light of the fact that a great deal of time had been squandered.

Akosua Agyapong further shared her fondest recollections of the music legend and asked associates to imitate his composing style in light of the fact that a large portion of his melodies are immortal.
