Despite rumours that former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr. Kwabena Duffour will contest John Dramani internally for the flagbearership on the ticket of the NDC, Kofi Adams, MP for Buem constituency strongly believes that John Mahama’s candidature is a done deal.
According to the law maker, currently in Ghana there is nobody who is most prepared and marketed like the former President to lead the country to progress.
“There is nobody currently that we will say that he is the most marketed and “most-ready” to lead the country so that the country will progress. Let’s even put NDC Presidential Primaries aside and not talk about the NDC but Ghana . . . the most prepared person as we speak today to lead the country to the next higher stage of development is John Dramani Mahama. There is no doubt about it,” he said.
He has said emphatically that John Mahama’s candidature in the NDC is a done deal and he will win for the opposition National Democratic Congress in 2024.
Mr. Adams who spoke on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia’ show, stated that the faithful and loyal members of the party are rather thinking of victory for the party and not internal elections.
” . . I am not worried about the fact that if anybody comes to contest for Presidential race, John Dramani Mahama will not win; I am talking about both the NDC Presidential Primaries and the 2024 general elections,” he added.
