NDC Will Be In Opposition For 50 Years-Effah Dartey

Former flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nkrabeah Effah Dartey has said that the opposition National Democratic Party will remain in opposition for close to 40 to 50 years because many Ghanaians agree that the NPP manages the country’s economy better than the NDC.

He made this comment while reacting to Sammy Gyamfi’s comment that the NPP are thieves which has made the presidency a breeding ground for corruption and thievery.

Reacting to Mr. Gyamfi’s comment he said; ”I think the majority of Ghanaians agree to the principle that the NPP are better trustees of the national purse than the NDC and that is why we won 2020, and that is why we are going to win 2024, and we are going to break the eight-year jinx and the NDC will not come to power until the next 40 to 50 years”.

”The New Patriotic Party, we are going to prove that we can handle Ghana better and more responsibly than the NDC”, he stated.

The staunch member of the NPP also said that Ghana has not had a leader as corrupt as John Mahama and his ”cabal of thieves”.

He noted that corruption was the order of the day under John Mahama’s administration.
