The family of Kaaka, a social media activist who was murdered months ago while on his way to his house at about 1:30am has finally reacted to the way and manner in which their brother’s case is being handled by the police.
According to the family they have refused to go public on the matter with the hope that justice will be served and served swiftly but that never came to pass.
They have stated emphatically that they refuse to stay silent any longer.
Kaaka’s family has also mentioned that all attempts to reach the top hierarchy of the police have proved futile.
The family has said that the brother of the late Kaaka who has been accused of being a suspect in Kaaka’s death was made to thumbprint some documents he doesn’t have an idea of its content which indicates that the police is a criminal agent working to incriminate their brother.
“A couple of weeks ago, our brother and son Baba Iddi, informed us that the Police came to pick him up from his prison cell without an interpreter, and held him with force and made him thumbprint a document he doesn’t know the content of or understand. We are disgusted by the reported actions of the Police. And we are now convinced that the Police are now active criminal agents working to incriminate our brother in a crime they know, and we know, he did not commit”, the family stated.
