Former President John Dramani Mahama has denied the allegation leveled against him that he funded the fixTheCountry campaigner/ protestor during the demonstration.
Speaking during his “Thank You tour” in the upper East Region on the 17th of August 2021, The former President claim he has nothing to do with those who Protested and they did so on their own free will, He claim those rumours or lie were spread by haters in the Opposition Party just to sabotage him
In his words, he claim: ” And the government communicators go and lie that I have given the FixTheCountry Campaigners 85,000 euro’s and I have given them Ghc1.5 Million for their demonstration. Absolute lie! Those old Machiavellian tactics dont work, I have not given “FixTheCountry” campaigner one single cedi“
