Celebrated Ghanaian journalist with Despite Media Group, Afia Pokua Vim lady has advised the government of the day to be steady in its dealings with the people of Ghana.
Reacting to government’s agenda 111 initiative, the ace broadcast journalist asked whether the NPP administration is kidding with Ghanaians because just last year they cut sod for Kpong Tema Oil Refinery but nothing has become of it and its back again with promise of building 111 hospitals.
”Almost all the big fishes in the NPP are in Kumasi for funs because of this agenda 111. We will not eat accolades or hashtags. The government should be steady in its dealings with the people of Ghana. Are you people kidding? You cut sod for Kpong Tema Oil Refinery road last year before elections what has become of it? When we asked they said the contractor is on site. But I can say on authority that there is no contractor there as we speak”, she noted.
President Nana Addo promised to build 88 hospitals in the country during the severe period of the Covid-pandemic and as part of fulfilling his promise to Ghanaians the President will on 17th August 2021 breaks grounds for the start of the construction of hospitals under the agenda 111 initiative.
The agenda 111 initiative is part of the President’s vision to improve health system in the country which will ensure that hospitals are provided 101 districts as well as 10 additional selected regional and specialized hospitals.
She believes one of the President’s unfinished project, Suame Interchanged needs attention and construction rather than promising to build 111 hospitals.
