Latest report gathered from the world of football indicates that Tammy Abraham has finished his £34million transfer to Roma in the wake of putting pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Italian club.
Tammy showed up in the Italian capital on Sunday August 15, to finish his clinical, where he will currently play under previous Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
His exit from Chelsea comes days after Romelu Lukaku made an electrifying comeback to the club in a whopping £98million record.
The arrangement with Roma is perceived to incorporate a repurchase condition of around £68m and Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia has disclosed that Abraham will consistently be welcomed at the club.
As per reports, Jose Mourinho is relied upon to make Tammy as his number 1 striker for the coming season, having permitted Edin Dzeko to pass on to join Inter Milan last week.
This is what Tammy Abraham had to say after joining the club;
”You can sense when a club really wants you and Roma made their interest clear immediately. Roma is a club that deserves to be fighting for titles and trophies. I’ve had the experience of winning major trophies and I want to be in those competitions again so I want to help this team to achieve that and get to the level where Roma should be.
It’s a massive honor to be the No.9 at this club I just can’t wait to get started and to help the team”.
