Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu has commenced a 2 week leave while his procurement of Sputnik V vaccine from a middle man named Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook garners massive criticism from Ghanaians.
According to report by Starr News, the Minister has already began the leave for a week now.
A number of Ghanaians especially, NDC MPs have called for the resignation of Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu owing from he procuring Sputnik V vaccines without the approval of Parlaimenst.
The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi has also called for the resignation of the Finance Minister, Ken-Ofori Atta since he is the chief culprit in the Sputnik saga.
Meanwhile Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook has accepted to refund $2,470,000 which was paid by Ghana to him for the procurement of 300,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines.
