I Will Suppress And Repress Corruption-Agyebeng Stresses On First Day At Work

Newly appointed Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng has stressed on his commitment to suppress and repress corruption in the country.

On his first day at work, the new Special Prosecutor who spoke with the media he is determined to see to it that the constitutional provisions which saw to the establishment of his outfit be strictly adhered.

Kissi Agyebeng whose nomination was unanimously approved by Parliament was sworn in as Special Prosecutor by President Nana Addo on 5th August 2021 at the Jubilee House.

After the Deputy Special Prosecutor, Cynthia Naa Torshie Lamptey showed Kissi Agyebeng around the office, he noted stated that he is kick-starting work right away.

“As I promised Ghanaians during my vetting, we are going to deliver our mandate as per the Act and LI and ensure corruption is suppressed and reppressed to the barest minimum,” he stated.

Kissi Agyebeng happens to be the second Person to occupy the office of the Special Prosecutor.
