Three suspected assailants at Brepo in the Ashanti Region of Ghana have been arrested by police in connection with the murder of a 45-year-old ‘okada rider’ .
The deceased was allegedly murdered by the suspects Kwabena Stephen aged 19, Samuel Nibonde aged 20, and Kofi Quansah aged 19 and made away with his motorbike.
The body of the 45-year-old okada rider was found in a bush at Bepro near Fawoman, a town in the Ahafo Ano District in the region.
According to police the deceased left home on Friday 6th August but got mysteriously missing as he never returned home.
The suspects who had escaped with the victim’s motorbike had an accident whil escaping and were rushed to the St. Edward’s Hospital at Adugyama on 7th August 2021.
Fortunately, police upon arrival at the Hospital found the victim’s phone on one of the suspects. The suspects are currently under police guard while on transfer at Mankranso Government Hospital for intensive medical attention.
