During a public sitting of the committee investigating the Sputnik V saga, he stated that he wasn’t thinking properly when he decided to procure Sputnik V vaccine at $19 per dose instead of $10 per dose on the international market.

This has compelled some Ghanaians especially the minority in Parliament to demand for the removal of the Health Minister.

Mr. Kweku Baako, the Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide has joined the number of Ghanaians calling on the Health Minister to resign from his post.

According to him the Health Minister has committed ”unmitigated disaster and needs to resign.

Speaking on the Newsfile, Mr. Kweku Baako urged the Minister to step down because he cannot defend the level of damage done.

”It is an unmitigated disaster. No Cabinet approval, no PPA approval, and no Parliamentary approval. Its a mess. It was an unmitigated disaster. He must do the honourable thing and resign because he cannot defend it. If he was minded to resign, I will vote for him.
