Prioritize Unity Over Parochial Interest-NPP Advises Its Members

The New Patriotic Party has advised its members to prioritize unity instead of individual parochial interest that might hurt the interest of the party.

This came from the Chairman of the Party Freddie Blay in a statement at the 29th anniversary of the party which took place on August 5, 2021 in Accra.

I want to charge the members of the party to prioritize unity over parochial interest. This is the only way we will still be on top of government and our contract with the people of Ghana in terms of its development”, the chairman of the party stated.

Speaking at the party’s 29th anniversary in Accra on August 5, 2021, he said the core mandate of the New Patriotic Party is commitment and dedication to public service.

He stressed that the President of Ghana is serving the interest of the people despite ugly noises and sometimes direct confrontations.

I believe this is what Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is doing at the moment, irrespective of the ugly noises and sometimes direct confrontations…what will keep us in power and help us build a sustainable future is our dedication to delivering faithfully the promises we made to the people of this country”, he noted.
