According to an announcement from the Presidency, President Muhammad Buhari will seize the opportunity to go for a health check-up while in London to attend an education summit.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Nigeria’s President will partake in the Global Education Summit which is reportedly co-hosted by Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom and Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta.
According to the President’s media aide, Femi Adesina, President Buhari will return to Nigeria in the second week of August since he will spend days to undertake an earlier scheduled medical check-up.
This isn’t the first time the President is traveling outside the country to seek medical attention as he spent several months in London in the year 2017 and he was reportedly seeking treatment.
