I Can’t Stop Corruption But Will Make It Costly-Kissi Agyebeng Declares

Special Prosecutor Nominee, Kissi Agyebeng has said before the Appointment Committee of Parliament that he will make corruption costly by making it a very high-risk activity.

According to him he is not naïve to believe that when giving the nod as a Special Prosecutor he can completely wipe off corruption.

”I am not naive to assume that I’m coming to stop corruption. There’s no way I can stop corruption. God himself will not acclaim to that but, I am going to make corruption very costly to engage in”, he said.

Touching on issues regarding he been young and being in experienced for the position of a Special Prosecutor, he mentioned that he has taught a number of great members of Parliament including Adenta and Madina MP in his capacity as a law lecturer and that qualifies him for the position.

He stressed that at 43 he even qualifies as the President of Ghana noting that France President Emmanuel Macron is his age mate.
