Robert Downey Snr, the father of Hollywood Actor Robert Downey Jr, Iron Man sadly passed away on the early Morning of Wednesday after battling a short illness
The news was confirmed by his wife and Iron man’s mother Rosemary Rogers. Just like his son, Robert Downey Snr was also an Actor who starred in Movies like To Live and Die In LA and Boggie Night.
His son Downey Jr took to his Instagram page and shred a very young picture of his Dad as he pays his respect to him. He wrote: RIP Bob D. Sr. 1936-2021…Last night, dad passed peacefully in his sleep after years of enduring the ravages of Parkinson’s ..he was a true maverick filmmaker, and remained remarkably optimistic throughout..According to my stepmoms calculations, they were happily married for just over 2000 years.
