Insecurity In Ghana Is ‘Reflective’ Of President Akufo-Addo-John Mahama

The former president of Ghana , John Mahama has said that the current state of Ghana’s insecurity that the country is sinking in is ‘reflective’ of the country’s leader, adding that the situation is ‘unfortunate’.

He made this comment while speaking at a three-day retreat for Communications Officers and members of the Communications Team of the NDC in Ho, where he applauded the Communications Team for explaining well the NDCS’ ‘People’s Manifesto to Ghanaians prior to the 2020 elections.

The former President expressed his condolences to the families of slain social media activist, Anyass Ibrahim Mohammed and two others who were shot in a protest at Ejura.

Meanwhile the former President isn’t the only one throwing shot at the President as the Presidential candidate Ghana Union Movement, Christian Kwabena Andrew has noted that officials under Nana Addo’s administration are full of old and archaic mentality. He says they used the old ways of doing things to solve issues.

Similarly, President and CEO of the Institute for Security, Disaster and Emergency Studies, Dr. Ishmael Norman has said that Nana Addo officials have old mindset.

He says most of Nana Addo’s officials are using the old way of governing to govern the country.

He made this comment while reacting to the order made by the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei-Mensah for the military to storm Ejura while the youth were protesting last Tuesday.
