Ghanaian activist and politician who used to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Progressive Aliance Movement has said that the 2021 Population and Housing Census that is ongoing is needless.
According to him there are more pressing issues like insecurity in the country that needs more attention instead of a census.
He says Ghana need to use the resources it has to improve its security system instead of counting the people in the country.
Speaking on ‘Maakye’ show aired on Onua TV and hosted by Captain Smart he asked what the last census Ghana conducted years ago was used for.
To him it would have been more beneficial to the nation if money being wasted to count people is used to improve Ghana’s security system.
