The mortal remains of a man suspected to be in his 40s has been found in the Kasoa Okrudu River in the Central Region of Ghana.
Some residents who spoke to Kasapa FM’s Yaw Boagyan stated that they experienced a strong stench in the area some days back only to find the dead body of a man on Friday 25th June 2021.
According to reports the man was killed and thrown into the river.
The Awutu Senya East Municipality National Disaster Management Organization NADMO, Director, Mr, Amoah confirmed the incident. He disclosed that his outfit has reported the case to the Kaso Police.
Reports indicates that the dead man is unknown by residents in the area.
Residents in the area are currently living in fear owing from the nature of incidents that takes place all the time. They have called on the government of Ghana to help them overcome the insecurity in the area.
