$170m Judgement Debt: I Weep For Mother Ghana-Koku Anyidoho

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has raised some concerns regarding the payment of judgement debts in the country.

He wondered how long the country will continue “to bleed from self-inflicted wounds.

Speaking on Okay Fm’s “Ade Akye Abia” programme, Mr. Anyidoho revealed that late former President Mills had to labour so hard before eventually paying judgement debt he inherited from the NPP government.

“So, Judgement debt has reared its ugly Medusa-like head in Ghana again? I sat in Cabinet & saw the extent to which Prez Atta-Mills Laboured to pay Judgement debts he inherited. For how long will the Motherland continue to bleed from self-inflicted wounds? I weep for Ghana,” he added.

Meanwhile the family of police constable Emmanuel Osei have announced that the slain police will be buried on July 24. This decision was taken when the family observed a one-week ceremony on Saturday, 26th June, 2021.
